At least 66 people have died in Nepal floods and landslides due to continuous rains in Nepal, the administration said on Saturday. Many parts of Nepal have been flooded due to continuous rain since Friday. Therefore, the disaster management officials here have warned of danger.
Nepal Police Force Deputy Spokesperson Biswo Adhikari said that 66 people died due to heavy rains. It includes 34 dead from Kathmandu valley. 60 people have been injured in this flood. 79 people are missing and more than one thousand citizens have been rescued. 44 places on main highways across the country have been blocked. Officials also said that 226 houses have gone under the flood water in Kathmandu.
